18C, recently properly extended, resulting in the discovery of a large inglenook. The flagstone floor restaurant is housed in the former stables. A warm welcome awaits all in the pub's comfortable interior. The Pelican takes its name from an old galleon of that name which became Sir Francis Drake's 'Golden Hind'.
